(bottle) Clear (?), de facto black coloured hue with a fluffy, slightly tanned foamy head. Quite acidic but not infected sourish-fruity, sulphury nose, minimal toasty with a hoppy note in the background. Light sweet, slightly sourish flavour, medium to light bodied, medium carbonation. Slightly toasty, malty and subtle fruity taste; malty and fruity finish, that unfortunately plasters the still detectable hops presence a bit. Somewhat rural, but not overly impressive, uncommon Dunkel.

(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a foamy white medium-sized head, leaving lace-work on the glass. Sweet grainy malt aroma with notes of caramel and honey plus the slightly skunky hose character (Worcester sauce). Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a crispy mouthfeel. Malty, slightly honey-fruity and nutty taste with light notes of caramel; medium-dry, moderately sweet, malty finish with light notes of herbal hops staying in the background.

(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a blond foamy, medium-sized head. Very shy aroma, although the beer already has some temperature, light sweet, grainy, cereal-like with subtle notes of honey. Sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a smooth carbonation. Grainy taste with light notes of honey, sweet grainy finish with a very light bitterness staying in the background. One dimensional, but also clean and still pretty drinkable Helles.

Test vom 6.3.2006, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 12,7,11,15,11,11 - 11,10
