2 litre plastic bottle from a supermarket in Ulcinj, Montenegro for just €1.29, wow! Beer pours a deep and quite attractive golden colour with a frothy white head. Decent aroma of malt and floral hop. Mildly caramel, bittersweet with a slight sharpness to finish. Moderate carbonation. Good value for money, have paid a lot more for poorer beer.

Canned. Clear pale golden, minimal head. Aroma of vegetable soup. Mid sweet with light body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Ripe fruits and boiled vegetables. Low bitterness. Dysmal industrial lager.

200cl plastic bottle at the apartment in Belgrade. Didn’t find any smaller bottles but wanted to try it. Pours pale golden with a small white head. Pretty standard industrial pilsner. Lightly malty and sweet with a light bitterness in the finish. Slightly watery. Cheap, but quite boring - didn’t empty the bottle... (Backlog: tasted 2010-08-30) --- Beer merged from original tick of MB Pils on 20 Nov 2010 at 00:00 - Score: 3

Dull straw. Has some light bitterness, hop extract. So some dryness and balance to an otherwise bland beer.

Plastic bottle. Clear pale golden color with average frothy white head and lively carbonation. Aroma of malt, grassy hops and with some papery notes. Taste starts with sweet malt and maybe some adjacent grains. Mouthfeel is crisp, dry finish and relative bitterness in the aftertaste. Light body, thin texture and lively carbonation in palate. Not more than average...

500ml bottle purchased at a Maxi store in Belgrade. Dotted spots at the glass from a low, white head. Clear, pale golden body. Grassy hints to the nose. Semi-tart grassy taste alongside notes of cardboard. Papery dry ending. Just about drinkable (last one at the Danube river cruise, Cabin, MS Rügen 04.08.2012).
