From tap at Noordelijk Kerst- en Winterbierenfestival 2017. Aroma is strong vanilla and wood, malt, bit boozy, more vanilla, heavy oak. Flavour is quite sweet and fairly bitter with some booze. Body is medium. Nice way to barrel age a Tripel, though it is a bit onedimensional.

From tap at Bierfestival Groningen 2018. Sweetish and well-hopped with an aroma of citrus, light dank hops, tropical fruits, candied fruits, and grapefruit. Flavour is mild bitter and fairly sweet for the style. Body is medium. Pretty decent attempt at a NE.

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is roasted malt with dark chocolate, wood, smoky and peaty notes from the Bowmore whiskey, tart dark fruits, plum, some coffee and mocha. Flavour is tart and mildly sweet with some roasty bitterness. Body is medium. Pretty decent, not nearly as good as the regular Midnightporter. Could use more body.

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is malt, yeast, fruity notes, floral-ish hops, and some citrus. Flavour is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Body is medium. More hoppy than the typical Belgian Blond. Pretty enjoyable stuff.

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is heavy on the barrel with peat, roasted malt, oak, notes of red/dark fruits, sherry, dark chocolate, whiskey, more roast and peat. Flavour is fairly bitter with some sweetness as well. Body is above medium. Lovely barrel aroma with the base Stout very present as well, well done Bronckhorster.

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is oak, dark fruits, brandy, dark malt, charcoal, peat, and raisins. Flavour is sweetish with an above moderate bitterness. Body is medium. Could have used more body, aroma is nice though with both dark fruity and smokey/peaty tones. Interesting!

Аромат весьма неплохой, очень много бочки прежде всего, нотки сладкие от бурбона, немного карамельки и меда с курагой. Хорошо но очень отличается от классики, вообще нету пшенички. Цвет карамельный, пенка белая. Вкус такой же только слабее в глубину. Много бочки, сладость умеренная от бурбона, немного специй, но нету глубины, особенно в конце, хотя при этом характер есть. В общем хоть и норм, но не в стиль и не так глубоко.

Bottle from Lekkerbier, Sint Nicolaasga. Aroma is caramel malt with molasses, whiskey, barrel, some alcohol, and dried fruits. Sweet, sticky, syrupy, bit boozy. Medium to full body. Very nice, liked sipping on this one.

Bottle from Lekkerbier, Sint Nicolaasga. Aroma is lots of Bourbon and oak with vanilla, malt, dried fruits, caramel, raisins. Sweet, light boozy finish. Body is medium to full. Bit sticky, fruity and oaky Bourbon Tripel, very nice.
