Here at Hoof Hearted Brewing we've been turning tanks like cassette tapes since late 2011. Known throughout the industry for our deft hop-wrangling and nude air guitar prowess, we do everything we can to provide fresh, high-quality (and sometimes hi-test) liquid to help you get the party poppin'.

Sample at the GCBA Summer Session on 08/23/2014: Slightly hazy yellow-gold color with a medium white head that recedes steadily to a dense film. Aroma of herbal hops, fruit and malt. Light body with flavors of fruity yeast, mild hops and bready malt. The finish is herbal yeast and hops. Decent overall.

On tap-offwhite-gold/amber. A-citurs-ornge, med malt. T-resin/ornge hop bite, lt/med malt.

Sample at Daily Growler. Slightly hazy orange color with a medium white head that dissipates steadily to a film. Sticky patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of tropical fruit, hops and malt. Medium-bodied with flavors of citrusy hops, melon and toasted malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a fruity hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample at The Ohio Taproom. Pours a slightly murky dark brown color with a medium light beige head that diminishes quickly to an outer ring. Aroma of roast malt and coffee. Light-bodied with flavors of roasted coffee, bready malt and a bit of chocolate. The finish is roasty with a lingering mild coffee aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample at Pint Room. Clear dark golden color with a medium off-white head that recedes quickly to an outer ring. Partial rings of lacing. Grainy malt, hops and pine in the nose. Full-bodied with flavors of resiny hops, doughy malt and ripe fruit. The finish is moderately bitter with a fruity hops aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Sample at The Ohio Taproom. Hilarious name and label, so let’s get that out of the way. The beer is a clear golden color with a medium fluffy white head that dissipates slowly. Sticky sheets of lacing on the glass. Aroma of malt, yeast and fruit. Medium-bodied with flavors of sweet grainy malt, bananas and yeast. The finish is syrupy sweet with a fruity yeast aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample at The Ohio Taproom. Slightly hazy dark amber color with a medium foamy white head that diminishes gradually. Small patches of lacing. Aroma of hops, citrus and malt. Medium-bodied with flavors of spicy hops, earthy malt and fruit. The finish is mildly bitter with an herbal hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample at 1808 American Bistro. Brownish-black pour with a medium tan head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of malt, hops and caramel. Medium-bodied with flavors of resiny hops, caramel malt and mildly spiced rye. The finish is malty up front with an earthy rye hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample at the Seventh Son Tap Invasion at Daily Growler on 12/11/2013. Dark brownish-black pour with a medium tan head that dissipates quickly. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of malt and coffee. Medium to full body with a roasty character and flavors of dark malt, coffee and a bit of hops. The finish is dry with a smoked malt aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample at the Columbus Microbrew Festival on 09/15/2013: The beer is a clear orange-amber color with a medium off-white head that recedes quickly to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of fruity hops and grainy malt. Medium to full body with flavors of tropical fruit, piney hops and bready malt. The finish is fruity up front with an citrusy hops aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
