20/10/2025. Big draft pour (Kriko e Madhe) at Kulla Inglizit - Bar - Restorant - Hostel, Shkoder. Looks good, and a great find on draft at this restaurant. Aroma is malty, citrus, hay. Moderate sweetness, bitterness and body. Average carbonation. A perfectly acceptable pils.

Drunk in Gjirokaster under the label Birra Gjirokastra. Gold with a thin, frothy head. Hardly an aroma. Perhaps a touch herbal with a cereal base. Taste is very mild bitter with a faint dough-like undertone. Mostly empty finish trends watery with faint herbs and metal. More reminiscent of a very mild German Helles than a pilsener. Drinkable.
