Tap at Cap Hop. Pours a pale grapefruit/hazy color with a white head. Aroma has cardamom, and maybe a touch of clove. Arguably medium body. Flavor is well towards Belgian Wit - nice amount of clove with some cardamom. Malt hard to pin down. Reasonably dry. Not very bitter, but the clove helps. This is one of the better American wits I’ve had in some time. Good stuff.

Poured from a 500 ml bottle. Aroma is fairly coconut forward with moderate chocolate notes. Some light roast and hints of dark fruit and anise. Light bourbon and faint oak notes. Coconut aroma is a bit sweet and bordering on sunscreen character. Pours black with a medium sized, thick dark mocha head that recedes somewhat quickly to the edges where it lingers for a bit. No lacing and moderately long legs. Flavor is fairly sweet with moderately strong chocolate notes. Light caramel and toffee with a bit of roast as well. Medium bitterness. Moderate coconut notes with a light, sweet sunscreen note. Light bourbon and alcohol spice with a bit of fair oak and dark fruit notes. Mouthfeel is full bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a nice imperial stout. The coconut is a bit sunscreen like, but the beer is less bitter and astringent than the maple version.

Poured from a 500 ml bottle. Aroma is malt forward with a lot of chocolate and some lighter roast notes. Light caramel and toffee notes with hints of molasses. Medium light bourbon and maple notes with even lighter oak.morr maple as it warms but a bit more alcohol spice as well. Pours jet black with a medium large, thick, frothy, dark brown-cola head that recedes to a small, thick film that lingers. No lacing and moderate length legs. Flavor is fairly sweet with a lot of chocolate, caramel and toffee. Lighter roast and molasses. Medium light bourbon and maple notes with some light oak. Light alcohol spice with a bit of anise and dark fruit. Moderately strong bitterness. Mouthfeel is full bodied and a bit sticky with medium carbonation. Low, but present astringency and medium low alcohol warmth. Overall, a pretty nice imperial stout. Nice maple, bourbon and oak notes. The alcohol is a bit strong and the bitterness and astringency a touch too high, but otherwise a really nice beer.
