Tap at Cap Hop. Pours very, very hazy grapefruit gold with a white head. Aroma is citrus/mango. Med + body. Flavor is very citrus/mango with a large lactose dose. Far from dry. Quite hoppy. Definitely bitter once the lactose washes away. There’s an usual (to me) lingering sweet/bitterness hanging around in the finish. Excellent.

Poured from a 16 oz can dated 04/13/2018. Aroma is hop forward with lots of tropical fruit, citrus and dank notes. Mango, passion fruit, pineapple, grapefruit and orange with some resin and light melon. Light cracker malt notes with hints of alcohol spice. Pours a rather hazy, dull, golden straw with a medium large, thick pillowy, white head that recedes to a thin film that lingers. Moderately high amounts of lacing and small legs. Flavor is somewhat sweet with light cracker malt and faint oats notes. Medium bitterness with light alcohol spice. Quite a bit of hop flavor with mango, passion fruit, melon and orange as well as lighter melon notes and resin. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a nice beer with great hop notes. Very fruity with some light resin notes and a balanced, light, sweet, malt note. Easy drinking with a good hop profile.

Poured from a 16 oz can dated 04/11/2018. Aroma is very coconut forward upfront. Light tropical fruit notes including mango and pineapple as well as some grapefruit. Light cracker malt notes. Pours a hazy gold color with a medium sized, thick creamy, white head that exhibits decent retention as it recedes to the edges where it lingers a bit. Moderate lacing and small legs. Flavor is moderately sweet with faint cracker malt notes. Lots of coconut with medium light bitterness. Light tropical fruit and citrus notes with a bit of lactose. Light alcohol spice. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, an interesting take on an IPA. Tatses a lot like a coconut shake, but it doesn't have much hop profile or bitterness. It's not really clear what makes this an IPA, but it's tasty.

Poured from a 16 oz can dated 04/19/2018. Aroma is fruity and very hop forward with light cracker malt and oat notes. Lots of mango, pineapple, passion fruit and guava with some light citrus and melon notes. Light dank resin notes as well. Pours a very hazy, murky, golden straw color with a medium sized, medium thick, frothy, white head that recedes to the edges where it lingers. Light lacing and small legs. Flavor has a medium light sweetness with light cracker malt and oat notes. Moderate bitterness with light alcohol spice. Moderately strong hop notes with a similar profile to the aroma, but with a bit more of a resin, dank note. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a nice DIPA. Lots of nice hop notes with a light, easy drinking malt profile. A bit more dank resin notes than I expect from Moonraker, but I guess that is Cellarmaker's doing.

Poured from a 16 oz can dated 02/22/2018. Aroma is very hop forward with lots of tropical fruit and hints of citrus. Lots of mango, passion fruit, guava and melon notes. Light resin notes and hints of cracker malt notes. Pours a hazy yellow gold, with a medium sized, thick, pillowy white head that recedes to a thin film that lingers. Light lacing and small legs. Flavor is slightly sweet with light cracker malt notes. Medium bitterness and moderately strong hop notes. Lots of tropical fruit with light citrus and resin. Mango and passion fruit mostly with a bit of melon and guava. Light alcohol notes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a nice IPA. I like the hop profile a lot and the base beer works well with the hops.

Tap at Cap Hop. Pours hazy/juicy gold with a white head. Aroma is citrus/tropical or perhaps the reverse. Juicy. Med body or a bit more. Flavor is juicy, about even citrus and tropical. Seems to have a touch of passionfruit bite in the finish. Juicily undry and pretty bitter, tho not harsh. Good hop bite. Quite nice.

Tap at Cap Hop. The pour is hazy/juicy with a white head. The aroma is dank/juicy. Mostly tropical? Wowsas! Med + body. Flavor is very dank/juicy. Some citrus, but mostly mixed tropicals. Think I can parse out passionfruit. It’s juicily undry, very hoppy, but only halfway to harsh bitter. Excellent.
