Tap at Cap Hop as Brozone Layer. Pours dark gold with a large whitish head. Aroma is slightly roasty/cooked malt with musty/floral aspects. Med body or so. Flavor is cooked roasty barley with some mustiness. And maybe floral. There’s also something else that’s a bit grassy. Fairly dry. Barely bitter. Viennas aren’t my fave, but at least this one was challenging to parse.

Tap at Cap Hop. Pours brassy gold with a white head. Aroma is dankly tropical. Med + body. Flavor is juicy tropical - mango/passionfruit/maybe citrus. It’s also dank. With effort there’s resin/pine - arguably. Bitter. Not all that dry - cause of fruit. Bitter layers the tongue. Heat not a taste issue. Could be a head issue. Great stuff.

Poured from a 16 oz can dated 12/28/2017. Aroma is very fruity and hop forward with light cracker malt and grain notes. Light alcohol notes. Super fruity with mango, papaya, passion fruit and melon. Light stone fruit, citrus and hints of dank notes. Pours a fairly clear, gold color with a medium large, medium thick, frothy, white head that recedes slowly to the edges edges where it lingers. Moderate lacing and medium small legs. Flavor has a medium light sweetness with some cracker malt notes. Moderate bitterness and some light alcohol notes. Less hops than in the aroma but still tons of mango, papaya, melon and passion fruit. Hints of citrus, pear and peach as well. Light resin notes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low, but present alcohol warmth. Overall, a surprisingly nice, hop forward and fruity beer. This is a really nice, fruity IPA but it doesn't necessarily remind me of Kush. Still one of the best, non hazy IPAs I have had recently.

Poured from a 16 oz can dated 12/28/2017. Aroma is fairly hop forward with a light cracker malt note. Nice nelson sauvin notes with some green grape, melon and passion fruit. Some mango, papaya and hints of citrus. Light alcohol notes. Pours a fairly clear, gold color with a medium sized, medium thick, white head that recedes steadily to the edges where it lingers. No lacing and medium small legs. Flavor has a medium light sweetness with some cracker malt notes and hints of bread. Moderate bitterness with some light alcohol notes. Moderate hop notes with passion fruit, melon, mango and papaya. Faint citrus as well. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low, but present alcohol warmth. Overall, a nice DIPA that borders on being a TIPA. The hop profile is classic nelson sauvin, but the size of the beer might hide the hop profile a bit.

Poured from a can that says 7.0% and features different artwork dated 12/26/2017. Aroma is very hop forward with citrus, especially grapefruit and orange, pine, resin and tropical fruit. Light cracker malt and oat notes. Pours a very hazy, dull, straw color with a medium small, moderately thick, white head that recedes slowly but steadily to the edges where it lingers for a bit. Light lacing and small legs. Flavor is somewhat sweet with medium light cracker malt and light oat notes. Medium bitterness and light alcohol notes. Moderately strong hop notes. Quite a bit of grapefruit, orange and tangerine with lighter topical fruit, pine and resin. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a nice, very hoppy IPA. Nice juicy fruit notes with balanced pine and resin. Could perhaps be a bit juicier with different hops.

Tap at Cap Tap. Pours gold with a white head. Aroma is garlic!, tropical, melon, pale stone fruits. Med body or so. Flavor suggests it’s not garlic, but makes me think that direction. Light caramel. I’m going for citrus, green melon, !garlic!?, earth. Not juicy, but heading that way. Another fun to parse ale. I faled. :)

Tap at Cap Hop. Pours very hazy gold with a white head. Aroma is dank. I think mostly citrus. Near full bodied. Dank it is, citrus not so much. Lots of pale stone fruit, some tangerine and something tropical. Juicy too. Lots of hop. Maybe a mild hop burn. It is incredibly delicious. Juicy and bitter. Nice combo.

Pint can pours with an opaque glowing dull gold kind of straw colored body that supports a nice white head. The aroma offers up loads of tropical fruitiness like mango, papaya, tangy guava and cantaloupe. Oh yeah. The taste delivers similar notes with firm levels of soft sweetened juicy tropical fruity hoppiness. Like the nose I get mango, cantaloupe, papaya and some guava with some spicy onion like dankness in the background. A tangy beast this as the modest level of boozy flavor is noticed hiding out amid the hop flavor fruitiness. Solid chewy involved IIPA. Love it!

Pint canpours with a near clear gold body that supports a thin white head of foam. The modest aroma offers up tangy pineapple and mango as well as cantaloupe and candied clementine. The taste delivers smooth rich and juicy soft flavor hops like cantaloupe, pineapple and tangerine. A modest grapefruit hop bitterness joins in about midway as well as a thin soft sweet maltiness. Solid balanced IIPA that leans toward dangerously drinkable.

Pint can pours with a clear pure gold body that supports a thin white head of foam. The aroma offers up some sweet malts, a sliver of sweet breadiness and then a blend of pine, citrus and tropical fruit hoppiness. The taste delivers smooth slick sweet malts and a dash of sweet breadiness leading quickly to a balanced blend of bitter pine hops, juicy citrus and tropical fruit hoppiness. The balance is very nice with bitterness, juiciness, some maltiness and then a mild sense of malt sweetened booze. Excellent sipper this.
