Can from a trade poured into a taster showing hazy whitish yellow with half a finger of clean white foam. The nose shows dank and pungent cannabis. The palate is medium bodied with moderate to full carbonation but smooth. Strong flavors of dank cannabis with hints of pineapple and a light malt sweetness throughout. Light but sharp IPA bitterness on the finish. Very well done NE style IPA from the west coast.

Pint can. Thanks, snuffy. The beer is a pale yellow. Very hazy. Solid enough white head. Big melon and pepper in the aroma. Interesting mix of sweet, light hop fruitiness with earthier spice. Kiwi, pineapple, mild tangerine, a little lemon, some grass. The hop flavor just doesn’t have enough juicy body for me. I think I’m not a huge fan of Equinox. Moderate bitterness. Lots of hop flavor comes through. Very mild crackery malt base. Soft feel with mild astringency in the finish. Very solid but not my favorite hop flavor.

At Gourmet Haus. Coffee dominates aroma and flavor. Deep brown with cola like head and moderate patterns. Thin and a little of harsh roast.

On draft at Caps & Taps. It pours a clear pale golden color with an off white head. The aroma is grainy with orange, grapefruit and melon. The flavor has a little toast and honey with spicy/dank hops. Lots of orange. Oily on the palate and toasty. Decent.

On draft at Caps & Taps. It pours a crystal clear pale golden color with a white head. The aroma has a lot of grape with hints of melon and very light caramel. The flavor has more grapes, lightly toasted malt and hints of honey, grapefruit and orange. Low to medium spicy bitterness. Crisp on the palate. Pretty nice.

Can from Sean, five days old. Thanks for sharing! It pours a light hazy yellow color with a white head. The aroma has some dank, pineapple, grapefruit and hints of lime and granny smith apple. The flavor is creamy with low bitterness and big melon and citrus. Not as dank or tropical as Yojo, so this one packs a little less of a hop punch. Still very bright and tasty.

Can from Sean, five days old. Thanks for sharing! It pours a sunburst yellow color with a white head. The aroma has some canteloupe, watermelon, honeydew and grapefruit. The flavor has a lot of the same. Melon, citrus grapefruit wtih super low bitterness and a creamy mouthfeel. Like a melon smoothie only with a fresh hop kick. Awesome stuff.

Pint can. Thanks, snuffy. The aroma is chock full of sweet pineapple juice hoppiness. Tons of wonderful tropical fruit with tangy citrus underneath. Delicate melon and tangerine. Some light raspberry and papaya. Mild, simple malt. Soft on the palate. Ultra crushable. Just nails the NEIPA execution. Taste has mild bitterness, just enough to clean things up in the finish with a long tangerine peel aftertaste. Pineapple and melon juice up front. No booze, no acetone, no flaws really at all. Glowy yellow orange color. Thick slightly off white head. This is an absolutely wonderful DIPA. One of the best >8% hoppy beers that I’ve had. Moonraker deserves way more love.

On draft at Caps & Taps. It pours a clear light gold color with an off white head. The aroma is light and grainy with some pale malts, hints of honey and noble hop. The flavor is grainy with light honey, multigrain bread and earthy noble hops. Nice and creamy on the palate, yet it has a nice mouth feel. A pretty traditional take on the style. Well made. Don’t expect a hop bomb Blonde.

On draft at Caps & Taps. It pours a super hazy/cloudy pale yellow color with a white head. The aroma has intense weed and orange with a hint of earthy/sulfury onion. The flavor has weed with a little more orange and lemony citrus. Backgroud notes of melon and tropical fruit. Some spice from the hops. Low bitterness with some low levels of bready malt. Kind of chewy on the palate with a hint of astringency. A really good NE IPA. Similar to some of the Monkish stuff. My only complaint is that it could’ve had a fruitier aroma for the full effect.
