Can into a snifter showing moderately filtered dark orange with quickly dissipating sparse white foam. The nose shows light notes of mango and sweet malt. The palate is medium bodied and moderately carbonated. Very subtle lactose/malt sweetness with juicy flavors of mango, pineapple, and pear followed with a very light malt backbone to the finish.

Cap at Cap Tap. Pours gold with a white head. Aroma is grassy/fruity/citrus. Med body. Flavor seems to match aroma. Mildly bitter; very clean; light caramel support. Maybe somewhat earthy. Tastes nice, but I think I’m not getting everything in the flavor.

Poured from a 16 oz can dated 06/13/2017. I was a bit late getting to this one. Aroma is very hop forward and fruity with a medium light cracker malt and grain note in the background. Lots of over ripe stone fruit, pineapple, mango, guava and citrus notes. Hints of resin and dank. Pours a rather hazy, dull, golden hay color with a medium large, thick, frothy, white head that shows nice retention as it slowly but steadily recedes. Flavor is moderately sweet with medium light grain and cracker malt notes. Medium light bitterness. Moderately strong hop notes with tropical fruit and citrus dominating, but also some lighter stone fruit and resin. A slightly odd, almost astringent, herbal hop note. Hint of alcohol. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with medium carbonation. Low, but present astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a great aroma, but the beer is a bit off. The mouthfeel is a touch watery and the flavor has that odd hop note to it.
