Poured from a 16 oz can dated 06/13/2017. I was a bit late getting to this one. Aroma is very hop forward and fruity with a medium light cracker malt and grain note in the background. Lots of over ripe stone fruit, pineapple, mango, guava and citrus notes. Hints of resin and dank. Pours a rather hazy, dull, golden hay color with a medium large, thick, frothy, white head that shows nice retention as it slowly but steadily recedes. Flavor is moderately sweet with medium light grain and cracker malt notes. Medium light bitterness. Moderately strong hop notes with tropical fruit and citrus dominating, but also some lighter stone fruit and resin. A slightly odd, almost astringent, herbal hop note. Hint of alcohol. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with medium carbonation. Low, but present astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a great aroma, but the beer is a bit off. The mouthfeel is a touch watery and the flavor has that odd hop note to it.

Can into snifter showing well filtered amber brown with sparse white foam lacing. The nose shows a lot of caramel malts. The palate is light bodied and fully carbonated. Flavors of caramel malt and a mild alcoholic heat throughout. Very light tropical fruit notes of pineapple appear on warming up.

Can into a snifter showing moderately filtered orange with half a finger of quickly dissipating clean white foam. The nose shows strong notes of clean and juicy blood oranges. The palate is well carbonated and light bodied. Clean and juicy blood orange forward with a light malt backbone support and a mild pine bitterness on the finish. Light minty mouthfeel. Very good

Tap at Cap Tap. Pours hazy gold with a white head. Aroma is very tropical fruit. Med body or better. It’s very juicy and suggests dankness. Fruit is mixed, but I think I can eliminate pineapple and affirm mango and guava. Not finding citrus in the mix. :) Very juicy and hoppy, but not strongly bitter and just sufficiently undry to support the juices. Great stuff.

Can poured into a snifter showing lightly filtered hazy yellow with thin translucent rims and sparse white foam. The nose shows a lot of adzuki malts. The palate is well carbonated and light bodied. A lot of adzuki malts with a very sharp citric edge (most likely too many alpha acids) but surprisingly without any bitterness. Light flavors of pine resin with a mid-palate of light papaya. In general a bit too overhopped and not in a good way.
