Pint can. Thanks, snuffy. The beer is a orangey, tannish yellow color. It’s nearly opaque with haze. White head. The aroma is full of sweet tropical fruit hop flavors. Pineapple, mango, guava, lemon, lime, coconut. Very mild malt character. The taste is on the sweeter side. Low to moderate bitterness at most. Easy to drink. Lots of hop flavor comes through. Big tangerine, pineapple, coconut. Some hop oiliness. A bit of body to it. Very nice.

Pint can. Thanks, snuffy. The beer is a light yellow gold color. Somewhat hazy. Medium-sized white head, some lacing. Nice aroma full of sweet fruity hop flavors. Tangerine, pineapple, kiwi, mango, grape, apricot. Trending toward overripe fruit territory but it’s delicate enough to avoid any cloying sweetness. Light simple malt sugariness. Moderately sweet in the taste. Lots of grape flavor with melon, pineapple, kiwi. A little bit of oiliness. Fairly light, at least for 8% abv. Very easy to drink. Good stuff.

Can into a solo cup showing hazy light orange with sparse white foam. The nose shows orange, pineapple, and guava. The palate is medium bodied and well carbonated. Strong flavors of pineapple, orange, guava, and passion fruit with a light malty sweetness. Barely any bitterness, drinks hazy and juicy.

Pint can. The beer is a medium yellow with some tan to it. Clouded through. Solid enough white head. A little lacing. Big melon in the aroma. Sweet pineapple, some mango, papaya, peach. Some mild sweet citrus underneath. A touch of sweet booziness. This one seems a bit stronger and sweeter than other Moonraker hops that I’ve tried so far. Taste has lots of nice hop flavor but again, it’s in the realm of sweet, overripe fruit. A little more body to it. Not as soft and easy to drink as YOJO or something. Enjoyable but not quite as much to my taste.

Poured from a 16 oz can dated 04/18/2017. Aroma is very hop forward and juicy with lots of pineapple, mango, peach, passion fruit and other hops notes. Light herbal and resin notes with hints of pine. Light cracker malt and wheat notes. Pours a slightly hazy, pale golden straw color with a medium large to large, thick, pilllowy and frothy, white head that recedes slowly to a thin film that lingers. Moderately high lacing and small legs. Flavor has a light sweetness with some cracker malt notes and a bit of wheat. Medium bitterness with moderately strong hop flavors. Moderate hop flavors with lots of peach, pineapple and passion fruit. Light alcohol notes. Light herbal and resin notes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a very nice IPA with solid hop notes. Lots of stone fruit and tropical fruit with some lighter resin and herbal notes. Light malt backbone. Very juicy.

Poured from a 16 oz can with a 04/2017 date (specific date is unreadable). Aroma is super hop forward with tons of tropical fruit and some light citrus notes. Lots of guava, mango, melon, tangerine, mandarin and passion fruit. Light peach notes with a hint of an herbal, resin note. Hints of alcohol spice. Pours a rather hazy, dull, pale, straw color with a medium large, thick, white head that exhibits really nice retention as it slowly recedes to a thin film that lingers. Moderate lacing and small legs. Flavor has a light sweetness with some light cracker malt notes and hints of white bread. Medium to medium low bitterness with hints of alcohol spice. Moderately string hop notes with mango, melon, passion fruit and guava. Hints of orange and tangerine with a light resin note in the finish. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a very tasty DIPA, though I prefer a more complex hop profile from using more than just citra. Really fruity hops though with great tropical fruit notes and lighter citrus.

Poured from a 16 oz can dated April 12, 2017. Aroma is super hop forward and fruity. Lots of mango, papaya, orange, mandarin, tangerine, and peach with hints of melon. Light cracker malt notes with a bit of a white bread note as well. Hints of alcohol spice. Pours a fairly hazy, pale yellow-golden straw with a medium large, thick, pillowy white head that recedes slowly to a thin film that lingers. Moderately high lacing and small legs. Flavor has a light sweetness with a somewhat dry finish with a medium note of crackers with a light graham cracker note. Moderate bitterness with some light alcohol spice. Light oily, grassy note to the hops. Lots of mango, peach, tangerine and mandarin. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a really nice IPA. So much hop flavor and aroma, but the flavor doesn’t really live up to the aroma and has a bit of a grassy, oily note to it.

Poured from a 16 oz can dated 04/19/2017. Aroma is super hop forward and juicy with tons of orange, tangerine, mango, passion fruit and papaya. Some light dank resin notes. Light cracker malt notes in the background. Pours a super murky, pale, dull golden straw color with a medium sized, fairly thick, white head that recedes to a thin film that lingers. Light lacing and small legs. Flavor is moderately sweet with some cracker malt notes to balance the large amount of hop flavors and moderately strong bitterness. So much juicy hop character with some light resin notes. Lots of tangerine, orange, mango and papaya. Lingering citrus, hop resin and sweet grain notes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, this is super delicious. So much hop flavor and aroma with just the right amount of malt profile. Its an ugly ass beer though.
