Can from Vinbuðin, Heiðrun. Black with a brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, maple syrup and bourbon. Flavor is very sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and moderate bitter finish with lots of warming alcohol. Oily. I my be slightly biased having suffered 10 days of mostly pale lagers in Iceland, but this is excellent stuff. 170723
