05-09-17 // cask at The Underdog, Dublin, Ireland. The cask definitely didnt do a good Job to this IPA. It tasted too flat. Sweet malty Body, with citrus, Lemon Aromas and a medium bitter finish.

Bottle from O’Brien’s, Athlone [150117]
Amber, clear, frothy fluffy head
Aroma of soft sweet fruits, dab of orange
Taste of grain, grassy hops, pale caramel malts, some bitter orange
Palate - Soft carb, medium body, rather bitter. Finish is a bit dry and bitter.
Overall - OK, palate a bit rough-hewn, not getting passion fruit or pine as it states on the bottle

Bottle from O’Brien’s, Athlone [120316]
Black, thin tan head
Aroma of good quality coffee roast
Taste of coffee roast, dark malts, espresso
Palate - Soft carb, medium body, soft sweet background, rather bitter coffee roast. Finish has a long coffee roast linger
Overall - Decent enough but I’m getting a bit tired of these coffee infused beers
