(Can) Dark brown colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of dark bread, tobacco, dried fruit, coffee, treacle, nuts and a touch of tar. Malty, roasted taste with dark bread, tobacco, cacao, dried fruit, raisins, coffee, liquorice, nuts and a balanced roasty bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Tasty and well balanced porter. Nice one.

Black with foamy cream coloured head. Aroma and flavour have an abundance of dark roasted malt with elements of dark chocolate, cocoa and some mocha coffee. Very flavoursome for the relatively low abv.

Can 44 cl. Pours black with an orange hue and a fizzy, quickly dissipating beige head. Rustic, roasty and a very British/Irish note - think a mix of peat and molasses. Kinda light in body, no real bitterness, toasty, licoricy roast with a fizzy feel. Solid enough though. 240723

Can. Deep brown colour with a small beige head, which vanishes quite fast. Aroma is toasted malts, some vanilla, chocolate and mild wooden tones. Flavour is nutty, some toasted tones with vanilla and some chocolate to it. Not much of an aftertaste.

440ml can, many thanks to Alf for this one. Bubbly, fawn-coloured head resting on top of a jet black body, dotted spots on the glass. Inviting aromas of Roasted grainy chocolate malts. Flavoured with black chocolate malts, alongside hints of caramel and liquorice. Rounded roasted dark malty finish. Pretty nice. (Drinking at Alf's place, Tromsø, 19.05.2023)

can. can art is super cool, the eyes of the pipe smoking skull is the logo of the brewery. bitter hoppy aroma with tons of citrus, quite crisp. Flavor is flowery and slightly lemongrassy hoppy with some bitter notes, on top of a malty base that is not super crisp but still refreshing. I'm, having this a bit too warm, I think it will work best when served quite cold, say 7 celcius - normally I prefer my beer a lot warmer than that, say 15 to 20 celcius. This one is one of those that should definetly be served cold.
