Cask at GBBF 25. Opaque copper gold. Frothy foamy white head. Aroma has light cities and equally light malts and grains. Light. Thin. Soft-fizzy carbonation. A SIPA that exerts no effort.

I could do with another session of summer to top up the fast fading tan from last month's visit to France. This hazy golden frothy-head brew has hints of fruit, but its hoppy-floral-bitterness, one that isn't particularly flavoursome, is dominant.

Cask at the Bridge Hotel, Newcastle, 14/05/2025.
Clear golden topped with a lasting just off white head ... lacing ensues ... a solid looker.
Nose is juicy citric zest, picking up a Mosaic whisper, grass, ripe melon.
Taste comprises soft malts, papaya, mandarin, orange zest.
Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close splashed with mellow juicy hop bitterness.
Solid cask pale.

Jeebus, that's full on cinnamon. I love cinnamon but that's a bit too much, as it dominates any other flavours. Rare miss for Half Moon, as they usually nail it.
