25/1/2019. Tap at 3at3, Ely. Pours clear pale yellow gold with an initially large white head. Aroma of sour winter berries, hazelnut, coffee, flowers and light vanilla. Light sweetness, medium plus sour. Moderate body, watery and slightly oily texture, fizzy prickly carbonation. Worked well as a third, though not sure I’d want a pint.

Half-pint, keg at Old Fountain. A remaining pinkish head over a dark red-orange coloured body, spotty lacing on the glassware. Mid-sweet berry skins on the nose. Sweet and dry taste of berries, cherry and strawberries. Creamy in the mouth. Something else, but a tad too sweet for my taste. (London 10.01.2019).

Keg at The Merchant, CW, 31/10/18. Amber with a well presented beige cap. Nose has old skool characteristics ... caramel, brown sugar, biscuit crumbs, orange peel. Taste comprises caramel, biscuit, light spice, stewed fruits, orange, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying peppered with dusty hop bitterness. So so.
