Keg at the Great British Beer Festival 2019 - London. Pours deep brown with a creamy, tan head. Medium sweet flavour with notes of roasted malts, ash, dried berries and cocoa. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with more roast, baking cocoa and jammy berries. Pretty fun stuff.

Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, fruity malt, pale malt, sweet malt, vegetables - coffee vegetables, light coffee, light milk sugar - cream. 28/2/2020. Cask at the Leicester Beer Festival 2020. Pours clear bright golden amber with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma of citrus, tropical fruit, hops, grapefruit and grass. Moderate sweetness and bitterness. Moderate body. Nice.

Third, guest ale on keg at the Love Lane brewery. Shared with Finn. Filmy layer, black in the glass, clingy lacing. Chocolate malts on the nose, roasted. Chocolate malts joined by coffee and blackcurrant seeds. Roasted, warming finish. Decent sipper, heavy to drink. (Liverpool 27.01.2020).

Keg, third shared with Finn at Ship & Mitre. A pinkish head to a dark reddish body. Spotty lacing. Vague smell of berry skins. Mixed taste of red berries and fruity hops. Prolonged fruity-berry end, mid-dry. So and so. (Liverpool 27.01.2020).

Keg at GBBF'19, day one, 06/08/19. black with a handsome tan cap. Nose is chocolate, raspberry jam, light peanut butter tones, mellow roast. Taste comprises chocolate, peanut butter, hazelnut, light roast, toffee, jammy berries. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Decent enough offering for the sub genre.
