Cask at Petersgate Tap, Stockport. Pours almost black with a small foamy beige head. There’s roasted malts and alcohol in the aroma. In the mouth it is sweet, creamy and fruity, with bitterness coming through later. Flavour is mainly alcohol and liquorice bith hints of coffee and ash. Finish is quite bitter and slightly dry. This is excellent – and dangerously drinkable !

Cask at Petersgate Tap, Stockport (as Krakow Blonde). Pours a cloudy golden yellow with a small foamy almost white head and good lacing. There’s malts and biscuits in the aroma plus some hints of citrus. In the mouth it is sweet and juicy but slightly watery and with a little underlying bitterness. Flavour has floral hops, malts and citrus with traces of mango and lemongrass coming later leading to a quite sweet finish. This is interesting – quite enjoyable.

Half-pint, cask at T.E.A. Time, shared with Finn. Good lacing from a steady off-white head, clear amber body. Ripe citrus aromas, mid-sweet malts to it. Quite well blended taste of herbal hops, mid-sweet malts and ripe citrus fruits. Malt-fruity ending with a bitter input. Pretty nice. (Kraków, 14.10.2024).

Half-pint, cask at T.E.A. Time, shared with Finn. Creamy white head, cloudy orange coloured body, spotty lacing. Citrus and citrus peels on the nose. Citrus flavours, moments of grapefruit to it. Distant fruit bitter finish. Medium bodied. Pretty decent. (Kraków, 14.10.2024).

Half-pint, cask at T.E.A. Time, shared with Finn. Fawn-coloured head, coal black in the glass, spotty lacing. Inviting smell of chocolate malts, comfortably roasted. Dark malt-driven flavours, with chocolate, nuts, and earth. Nicely roasted finish. Medium bodied. Pleasing. (Kraków, 14.10.2024).

Half-pint, cask at T.E.A. Time, shared with Finn. Next-to-clear amber body, spotty lacing from an off-white head. Inviting smell of caramel malts, mid-dry. Mixed taste character of caramel, grain, and a note of leafy hops. Bittersweet moments to the ending. Decent, a bit thin though. (Kraków, 14.10.2024).
