Cask @ Port Street Beer House, Manchester. Hazy pale golden-yellow with a small head. Hoppy and dry tasting, it’s a tad watery in its texture but its fruitiness doesn’t seem compromised.

Cask at CBC, Covent Garden on 4th March 2017. Deep amber with shallow, decayoff-white film and scant lacing. Intense roasty malt aroma with smoked meat notes. Rich and intense smokiness in-mouth with tangy citrus notes. A solid, logfire and doled meat finish. Perversely exquisite. Plenty of body and a full-on mouthfeel.
