Handpull cask at the Blue Boar, Leicester. Almost black with a huge and lively loose beige head. Black malts, bitter cooking chocolate, demerara sugar in the aroma.sweet taste with notes of salted caramel, plum, treacle. Bitterness sneaks in for an intense finish. Thick body, soft carbonation. Excellent

Hand-pulled half-pint in the Blue Boar, Leicester mid-afternoon on 21st January 2025. Hazy golden body, white crust. Citrus bite with a slight malty sweetness, but this is all about the hops.

Cask at the Colmore, Birmingham. Light cloudy gold, creamy looking off white head, plenty of lacing. This one had grapefruit, grape, leafy-floral notes with corresponding bitterness. Nice smooth light body, tingly carbonation, refreshing. Very good light cask pale.

Cask @ Fox And Goose, Hebden Bridge. Lightly hazy golden with a head. Good dry hopping going on here, so has a mostly hopped aroma and taste, however a few fruity notes are evident.

Handpull cask at Darlington Snooker Club. Light gold, a little bit of haze and a smallish white head. Aroma, well, it is hard to smell past the Sabro here. Lots and lots of dill with notes of tropical fruit pinned underneath. Tastes even more Sabro-esque with savoury herbal notes combining with sweet St Clemens flavours. Moves bitter to a drier finish. Light body, soft carbonation. If you love Sabro (which, when done well, I do) then you'll love this!
