Keg @ The Paper Duck, Harborne, Birmingham. Pours murky dirty brown, vibrant exotics on the nose. Taste has an initial burst of stonefruit and jagged pine, but unfortunately dries out and deflates a little too quickly.

Handpull cask at the West End Brewery, Leicester. Pale yellow and clear with a small white head. Gentle grapefruit-led aroma with lemon peel and a touch of biscuity malt. Bittersweet taste with just a touch of sulphur. The finish is far more bitter, leading to an uncompromising bitterness in the aftertaste. A basic but enjoyable pale ale.
