Hazy amber. Thick creamy head. Light aroma with malt and zesty hops. Flavour has zesty hop, a little grapefruit, the classic maltiness you'd expect in a bitter. Sessionable but with so many average bitters knocking about it's always nice to get one with a bit of something going on.

11/4/2024. Cask at the 11th Isle of Man Beer & Cider Festival. Pours hazy/cloudy orange straw gold with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma is hoppy, orange, hay, tropical fruits, citrus, peach, husky notes. Moderate sweetness with medium bitterness and body. Average to soft carbonation. Drying bitterness to finish. Best beer I’ve had from Bushys.

11/4/2024. Served from the wood at the 11th Isle of Man Beer & Cider Festival. Pours clear mahogany brown with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma is chocolate, malt, toffee, dark fruits, wood, oyster, hints of sea salt, very slight musty edge. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness and body. Slightly watery, soft carbonation. Enjoyed this much more than the non-wooded version tried at GBBF 2016!
