4.6/10 β€” Appearance 4 Aroma 5 Flavor 5 Texture 4 Overall 4.5
Draught at Gingerman, 10/29/18.
Crystal clear, pale, straw-blonde with little/no head atop. Hmmm, guess everything settled out in the keg. So much for permahaze...
Smells very lactose-heavy, with creamy-sweet honey and milk, very light floral hops and a hint of citrus. Very low hop character here.
In the mouth it's basically just a malt-and-lactose golden ale with a light afterthought of hops adding light floral notes and hints of citrus. Strong vanilla emerging with warming, as well. Seems like 98% milkshake and 2% IPA. Sweet, soft and sticky with low, somewhat loose carbonation and medium attenuation.

Draft at Gingerman, 10.29.18.
Very light , lemon-blonde. White head fades quickly to ring.
Lemon, pine, light scallion and softly fruity yeast.
Flavor the same. There's a lovely fruitiness here with light melon and soft, backing, honey-like malt, but it's very scallion-forward. Otherwise excellent, with tight carb and high attenuation. Low but ample bitterness with lingering ester, lemon, light vegetal notes and scallion.

7/10 β€” Appearance 8 Aroma 6 Flavor 7 Texture 8 Overall 7
Draught at Meadhall on 8/14/18.
Heavily hazy, bordering soupy, golden-maize-bronze. White head atop is small, showing moderate retention.
Heavy yeast in the nose, both the actual, nutty yeast itself and strong mineral, bubble gum and melon. Citrus is heavily lemony with more orange and light pineapple behind it. Biscuity malty stay out of the way and there's no flaw or alcohol.
In the mouth it's soft, full of yeasty, malty, even wheat-like textures with low but engaging carbonation. Lots of various citrus with little/no resin. Pretty big body, though not sweet. Straightforward session NE IPA. Competent if somewhat unremarkable.

6.1/10 β€” Appearance 8 Aroma 6 Flavor 6 Texture 6 Overall 5.5
Draught at the Fox and Hound, 4/20/18.
Heavily hazy, bronze-maize-golden, typical NE IPA appearance. Small, white head fades quickly to a ring.
Smells of succulent, honey-dense malt. Maybe some light bubble gum ester from the yeast, as well. Clean, not all that hoppy and no resin, but yet, little/no juice either. Just kind of a vague wintergreen and marmalade, old school PNW character.
In the mouth it's soft, even sweet, with tons of malt flavor and texture. Almost certainly too much so and with a strange, somewhat unclean, strong yeast character adding dullness and a touch of astringency. Resin eventually builds lightly on the finish. Definitely off a bit, most likely just needing more time in secondary and some cleaning up around the edges.
