32 oz. growler shared by T.J. Color is a clear gold, light wispy head. Very light bodied, and easy drinking. There’s a touch of sweet grain, mild hint of apple is noticeable. Overall, it’s a light easy drinking beer, that’s easy approachable and correctly made.

32 oz. Growler filled at the source. Aroma of grain / oats, tropical fruit, mellow citrus.

Flavor shows the oats, pineapple, citrus, celery. Mild grass. Blonde malts that finish with a dry texture. Well balanced with a moderate grassy bitterness. Very similar to another New England oat based IPA / pale ale I recently sampled. Medium-full-bodied, chewy. Very well made. Glad I like it because I have a ton of it to drink.

Keg pour into taster cup at NH Brewfest. Appearance is dark orange/light brown with small ring of white head, trace sparkle. Aroma is more restrained caramel than the Jack’s Abby brewed variant, with an "other" sweetness that was a little hard to place--perhaps the sweetness of inner tree bark or sap?, candied sugar?, mint? Taste is caramel with candied sugar/interesting sweetness--both sweet and light--with bubble gum, esters. Palate is medium bodied with average texture, soft-to-average carbonation with sweet finish like the taste. Overall, less richly sweet than the Jack’s Abby variant with more intricacy with the bubble gum and ester quality. Most interesting hard-to-pin-down sweetness. Very good and interesting.
