Beginning in 1994 with a 7 barrel converted dairy system, we set and accomplished the goal of providing unique traditional ales & lagers available through OHB. Quickly we outgrew that system.
In 1997, we began the renovation of an 1880 Historic Landmark building, which now houses our brewing facilities, a 25-barrel Price Schonstrom brew house.

Toffee, boatloads of bourbon, oak and some dried fruit, subtle hop bitterness. Delicious stuff.

Borefts 2019 day 1. Black with tan head. Sweet deep roasted chocolate malts, cinnamon, ginger and chilis. Nice. Big sweet deep roasted chocolate malts. Full body and soft carbonation. Very nice.

Draught @ Borefts 2019 Aroma has cocoa and some licorice. Flavour has licorice, some mild herbal tones and hints of cocoa. Easy-going IS.

Draught @ Borefts 2019 Aroma has sweet malt and licorice. Also some fruitiness. Flavour has bourbon, vanilla, fruity notes, licorice and alcohol. A good bourbon-IS.

Draught @ Borefts 2019 Aroma has tropical fruits, fruit juice and grapefruit. Flavour has tropical fruits, woody tones, minerals, grapefruits and mild herbal tones. Aftertaste has some hop burn. Quite what it promises to be - a really hoppy IPA.

Draught @ Borefts 2019 Aroma has some apricot tones and fruity malt. Flavour has fruity malt, some harsh maltiness and mild coffee notes. Easy-going and really straightforward.
