Cask at GBBF ’15, day 3, 13/08/15. Dark mahogany brown with a decent light beige covering that dissipates edgeward. Nose is biscuit, toffee, cocoa nibs, light hop underpin. Taste comprises cocoa powder, toffee, dirt, biscuit, light roast. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent porter.

GBBF Day 2. Cask. Clear deep brown - amber beer, small pale tan head. Palate is smooth and semi dry. Modest fine carbonation. Tangy mellow dark malts, little chocolate. Tangy dark fruits. Light finish. A nice intensity to the dark fruits here.

Cask gravity at gbbf 2015 day 3. Caramela little fake choc. brown coloured pour with a small head. Aroma is sweet powdered choc, nutty malt, dried ape. Flavour is composed of choc powdered. Nutty, a little fake choc. Palate is semi sweet, moderate cask condition.

Cask at GBBF 2015. It pours deep brown with a small beige head. The nose is soft, toasty, charred wood, burnt toast, umami and liquorice. The taste is bitter, earthy, charred wood, leather, leather, fruit cake, tar, liquorice and umami with a dry, earthy finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Decent enough.

From cask. Pours hazy dark brown to black with a small tan hesd. Aroma is roasted malty, breadish. Sweet, toasted and slight caramelish. Toasted dark malt. Bitter and roasted finish.

30th June 2015. Cask half-pint in The Wellington, Birmingham City Centre. Poured a very dark brown colour with a beige head: almost a Black and Tan look. Rich aroma of roasted malts and hints of chocolate bars. The taste is fairly sweet with the chocolate from the nose showing heavily in the smooth, rich body. Really enjoyed this, had a train to catch or I would have had a pint, and then another, etc, etc.

Cask at the Wellington; clear dark chestnut brown pour with s bubbly light tan head, pleasant coffee and chocolate aroma, taste has some smoke, dark berries, plain chocolate, ok.
