Gravity cask at the Real Ale Classroom, Stoneygate, Leicester. Light yellow gold and hazy. Strong dank aroma of white grapefruit, a little bit of tropical fruit. Taste is fairly bitter, loads of hop oil on the back of rhe tongue in the finish. Light body with soft to nil carbonation. Cones together very nicely, not so much personality but a lot of class.

Gravity cask at the Real Ale Classroom, Stoneygate. Yellow/gold and as hazy as you can imagine and an uneven swirl of white head. Gentle aroma with orange peel, cantaloupe, white grapefruit. Taste is slightly sweet, very hoppy but not overly so, with a bitter finish, lots of grapefruit juice here. Soft body and carbonation. It’s a decent beer although short of their best work.

Cask at the Southampton Arms, London on 27th January 2026. Opaquely hazy mustard yellow with shallow whitish foam and full lacing. Rich aroma of tangy fruits and savoury nuttiness. Burst of zest and tangy citrus and tropical fruits in-mouth. Just the suggestion of salt. Full bodied with an engaging mouthfeel.
