Keg at the brewdog. A light hazed reddish brown coloured pour with a fading light pink head. Aroma is tangy sour cherry. Hint of choc, coconut, tonka. Flavour is composed of, sour cherry, raspberry, powdered coco, bitty. Palate is light tangy, airy carbonation. Tangy.

Keg at the Brewpub. A an opaque black brown coloured pour with a a halo of light tan head. Aroma is big bold earthy coffee, slightly dungy, earthy, salt, brown sugars. Flavour is composed of earthy brown malts, coffee grounds, toasted, salty earth, little thin. Earthy roast. Palate is little thin, highish carbonation. Lingering earthy roast.

Keg at the brew pub. A very clear, very pale yellow gold coloured pour with a fine white head. Aroma is corn, sweaty hop, grassy light herbal. Flavour is composed of earthy pils grains, herbal, grassy hop. Firm grassy bitterness, little metallic. Palate is crisp, light, highish carbonation. Decent.

Keg at Beer Hawk Southbank, 16/12/19. Black with a well presented tan covering. Nose is dark fruits, light bonfire, ashen tones, leather, charr, burnt brown sugar. Taste comprises smoked malts, toffee, charr, scorched earth, dried fruits, brown sugar dusting, cocoa powder. Medium bodied, fine to slightly prickly carbonation, semi drying close. Decent smoked stout ... good balance ... subtle but noticeable.

Keg at Goose Island Brew Pub, Shoreditch, 15/11/19. Rich chestnut brown with a decent light beige covering that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is brown bread, dried fruits, biscuit, faint spice, brown sugars. Taste comprises fruit slice, stewed fruits, biscuit, dates, raisins. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent.
