On gravity at the Maltings beer festival, Newton Abbot 17/4/2015. This was the version with mosaic hops. Grapefruit, pineapple, slightly creamy mlats and a touch of green herbs, before a fruit, dryish finish. Enjoyable.

Cask at Craft 100 - CBC Clapham, London. Pours clear amber-brown with a creamy, light beige head. The nose is all old, tangy wood, leaves, grainy bread and berries. Tangy, almost sour flavor with more old wood, light tart berries, leaves. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Tangy old, rotting berry flavors in the finish, with a lightly oily texture and toasted bread. Disjointed and not altogether pleasant. Meh.

Cask at CPK, Pimlico on 7th November 2014. Deep ruby to black with pale tan lacing head. Lush, thick roast malts and spices in aroma. Burnt, roasty malts in-mouth with smoke, cream and nuttiness. Solidly bitter finish - rich and intense. Plenty of body and a full-on engaging mouthfeel. Exquisite, possibly my "Beer of 2014"!!!
