Can 44 cl. Pours thick and opaque black as crude oil with just a tiny film of a brownish head. Fatty curtains in the glass. Sweet Bourbon and vanilla aroma atop fatty molasses. Super rich and potent body, with very little carbonation. Subtle roast, chocolate vanilla and Bourbon. Surprisingly little booziness. Delicious! 130325

(Bottle) Black colour with brief, bubbly, beige head. Malty, roasty nose with notes of dark bread, soy sauce, dried fruit, dark chocolate, tobacco, orange peel and oak wood. Malty, roasty taste with soy sauce, dark bread, dried fruit, dark chocolate, liquorice, black coffee, orange peel, a touch of smoke, oak wood, hints of brandy and a generous roasty bitterness in the finish. Full body, thick and oily mouthfeel. A certain sweetness. Rich, powerful and tasty. Very nice.

Bottle, a year out of date. Nice heavy duty crown seal though. Black with a dense fat coat of tan head. Roast, mocha, hints of soy sauce and peat, reduced berries, suffused with whiskey. Smooth with lowish carbonation. Nice chocolate, berries and roast but somewhat biting peat and overt alcohol. I don't understand why it's so peaty.

Tap at Fermentoren, Copenhagen 01/09/2024 bright fruity notes of satsuma and red grapefruit, citrus peel, nice hop spice, sweet malty backing, medium body, solid hoppy finish.

On tap at YNWA, Kolding. Cloudy golden with a lasting white head. Fruity aroma with peach and orange peel. Sweetish juicy, fruity flavour with hardly any bitterness.
