Bottle from BarleyWine, Copenhagen - pours black with a mahoosive and persistent brown head. Aroma and taste showcases a great balance of sweet and bitter notes with powerful roasted malts, deep chocolate.. almost chocolate fondant like leading to a velvety mouthfeel, great full body, the perfect amount of vanilla throughout for me, some coffee, some caramel, some whisky nuances towards the end leading to a medium bitter roasted finish. Another bottle 26/12/2015 - tasting great still, going to keep the rest to age some.
