Description
We are a 6BBL brewery fast out-growing our current site. Also combining a taproom and burger bar, our team are continually economising with space in order to maximise our postage-stamp-footprint.
Our site has a fascinating history. We opened in November 2017 and despite originally being built as a pub, the first ever pint poured here was a Steam Town one — one hundred and eleven years after the original application was rejected.
The name Steam Town is a nod to Eastleigh's rich industrial railway heritage, something we honour throughout the business — from original railway memorabilia and repurposed materials in the taproom, to our beer names and Heath-Robinson-inspired labels and pump clips.

Panda at home thanks to Ed Danlo. A hazed deep orange coloured pour with a livbely rocky off white head. Aroma is yeasty, belgian notes, pine, grassy hop, light toffee, earthy. Flavour is composed of dusty grains, wheat, yeasty, flaked wheat, grass, dirty pine, spicy hop. Palate is flaked grains, highish carbonation . Little rough round the edges.

Panda at home, thanks to Ed Danlo, 17/04/24. Moderately hazed golden amber with a decent enough lasting light egg shell white head ... looks fine, just not very West Coasty! Nose is orange zest, grass, perfume, mandarin, straw. Taste comprises bitter orange, melon, mandarin, airy malts, light breads. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with mellow hop bitterness. Passable entry level IPA ... drinkable ... not West Coast in its outlook as well as its appearance!
