On tap at VCBW Festival 2017, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of lacto upfront, with subdued kiwi and rhubarb. Flavour is fruity and yogurty, with heavy lacto character and subdued fruitiness. Nothing overly complex, with the lacto taking centre stage. It's okay.

Cloudy dark amber color, dull, no head. Mild aroma, very light berries, earthy, the opposite of seducing. Moderately sour, earthy character, dirty, with stale berries.
Bad, unpleasant, stale. A trainwreck, how can they sell this?

Hazy blonde. Bubbly head. On the nose, dusty yeast, light plastic, and some fruity elements. Light body, very dry, and with some nice herbal elements...probably nettle. Good balance, nice dry finish.

650 ml bottle. Pours a dirty mahogany with no head. Aromas and flavours of vegetal dark berries more like salal than currants. Meh.

Has a nice hazy light purple colour. Thin head. Nice blackberry nose with a touch of wildness. It’s quite dry, with a saison yeast character, and maybe again just a touch of wildness. The berries are restrained and really only lend a little bit of fruitiness to the finished product.

Poured from 650mL bottle. Dark brown, near black with full tan head. Soft roasted malt with a bit of chocolate, just a hint of salt. Pretty decent.

750ml bottle at Brian’s office. Pours a hazy copper with no head. Aroma is too malty with some blackcurrant notes. Taste and aftertaste are very malty, bready, with some fruitiness. Bad.

Light brown, bit muddy, no head. The aroma has light currant note, but with a bit of slickness. This has a harsh malty character, touch of black currant. Really, not much comes together here. The body is a bit thin, the malts harsh, the tartness understated and honestly the black currant doesn’t flow either.
