Bottle from High Point, Vancouver
Opaque dark amber color with almost no head. The aroma takes you off guard, it’s very fruity, first passion fruit, qumkats, giardiniera, light melon. Lean mouthfeel, rather dry, with fresh tartness, citrus fruits, hint of tropical.
Surprisingly good, complex, interesting.

750mL bottle, pours a murky opaque dark peachy brown with a small off-white head. Aroma is unusual, being very fruity, with lots of earthy, leafy, melony hops, under-ripe fruits, and pithy notes. Flavour is quite complex, with lots of melon and under-ripe stone fruits upfront, followed by earthy, leafy hops that are further subdued. Very unusual -- but quite intriguing and nicely constructed.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy copper with a white head. Aroms is sweet with mead and some flowers notes, pleasant. Taste is pretty the same with some bready notes, flowery bitterness. It is somewhat similar to their Lavender ESB, but has more sweetness, less flowery and more hoppy bitterness. Interesting. Good one.

On tap at Field House, pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma is fairly subdued on the Belgian yeast, with dry biscuity malt. Flavour is fairly dry, with an earthy astringency upfront and light Belgian yeast. The astringent hurts this too much. A bit off - need a some refining.
