Bottle from Legacy. Hazy, light amber. Thin head. There’s some sort of stewed peach note, some wood(?), touch of wildness, light fruity character that seems to come from a touch of brett, especially because of the blueberry element. The malts have a warm, biscuity character that is somewhat incongruous with the beer’s wilder elements. There’s some potential here, though right now it’s not quite realized. Good to see the effort taken to be creative, though, that is much appreciated.

Brown with a quick dissipating head. Nose and palate of lightly sweet chocolate with notes of coffee. Vague licorice notes as it warms. Mellow and easy drinking

A bottle from High Point on Black Christmas 2016 at 12 Kings. Aroma is sour, some hoppy notes, caramel, fruity. Taste is pretty the same, very smooth, with a moderate sourness, quite dry and tart. Quite good.

Bottle from High Point, Vancouver
Opaque dark amber color with almost no head. The aroma takes you off guard, it’s very fruity, first passion fruit, qumkats, giardiniera, light melon. Lean mouthfeel, rather dry, with fresh tartness, citrus fruits, hint of tropical.
Surprisingly good, complex, interesting.

750mL bottle, pours a murky opaque dark peachy brown with a small off-white head. Aroma is unusual, being very fruity, with lots of earthy, leafy, melony hops, under-ripe fruits, and pithy notes. Flavour is quite complex, with lots of melon and under-ripe stone fruits upfront, followed by earthy, leafy hops that are further subdued. Very unusual -- but quite intriguing and nicely constructed.
