Dull pale amber. Lots of that vinous galaxy, medium bitterness, big biscuity malts. Those somewhat clash with the galaxy. Mosaicy onions bounce around here, too. You wouldn't think these elements would be incongruous but yet here we are.

Pale and opaque. Mellow pineapple nose. On the palate it's got a mild tartness, some pia but not especially bright. Coconut is mellow, certainly not as much as I would like. It's good, but could be more if the flavours weren't so muted.

Dark brown, with a purplish brown head. Medium body for style. Some coffee roastiness, and this is rounded by the grape -which is dornfelder, not riesling. The vinous notes lend a pleasant accent to the stout, which as with all FH attempts at an impy is light and thin for the style.

Hazy and pale. Thin head. Wheaty, low bitterness -light juniper, it's actually mostly a wheat ale, light orange and juniper only.

Opaque and pale. Thin head. Has that tart, green mango aroma that a lot of Field House sours seem to have. Mostly tart, more green mango, papaya, peach, that stuff. The guava has no sugar... when guava beer is done brilliantly there's lots of sugar involved and it's fucking intense, like Loba Paraiso down in Guadalajara. This one is like there's a bunch of fruits, a sort of harsh sour, and nothing really jumps out.

First time I've ever had a beer out of my Campari negroni glass. Has that brownish-orange negroni colour, but of course also a lot more head. The aroma is gently herbal, but nowhere near as bright on the orange or bitters as a negroni. It's actually malt forward and mostly on the sweet side, which just sort of confuses me. Lacks a distinct negroni character, which to be honest is one of the most beer-compatible cocktails imaginable. I mean, I'd love an Oud Beersel negroni beer, the flavours are that symbiotic. But this... to me it misses because it's neither bitter nor explosively aromatic as I prefer my negronis to be. This feels like they half-assed it, on a beer that really only works when you go all-in. Field House, take this concept, but put it in a foeder, brett c, jack up the botanicals, get some chinotto in there, and get back to me.

500 ml bottle. Pours black with a pinkish tan head. Aromas of chocolate, cotton candy, and roasted malts. Flavors of roasted malts, light vinous oak, vanilla, and subtle red grapes. Very nice. Has some complexity. And I think this is the best Field House I have had…

Poured from the tap. Clear blonde gold with small white head. Melon and mild citrus hops, actually quite nice.

Poured from the tap. Clear gold with small white head. Skunky aroma, cereal malt and feint grass hops. This one seems like it’s gone off.

473ml can. Pours a hazy gold yellow with a small, foamy, short lived, off-white head that laces. Mild aroma of bready wheat malt, yogurt, a hint of orange and lacto. Sweet fruity flavour of bready wheat malt, tangerine, strawberry and yogurt in a dry, slightly tart lacto finish. Light to medium body with a watery to oily texture and average carbonation. I was slightly disappointed. A little too light on the fruit.
