Slightly hazy tan. No head. The aroma has typically orangey simcoe notes. Mild bitterness. Soft orange and mango notes. A mellow pale ale. Might be an old keg, and shows a hint of diacetyl as a result.

Golden amber - no head. Only a hint of smoke, maybe some caramel on the nose. Quite toasty - smoky on the palate. A little thin, lacking sugars, typical of an American-made German style. The smoke is nice, but it needs help all-round.

Hazy amber with a thin head. The aroma is quite earthy, maybe a little cheesy. I found the caramels lead the beer. It’s quite soft, with light woody hops. OK IPA, maybe a bit easy-going.

Dark brown. They really don’t pour with much of a head at this brewery, so not much head. The aroma is rich and chocolatey, but you’d have to reach a bit to find some smoke. The palate is chocolate, tar, fudge and a little bit of smoke in the finish. Good balance. Not so smoky but a happy brew.

Dark brown. Not much head. The aroma is quite chocolatey with light sweet malt notes. The palate is a little bit chocolatey as well, with a light fudge character. Not a lot of bitterness, but the sweetness is not cloying, so it works out quite well.

Amber with a thin head. The aroma is complex - pine, blueberry and sticky malts. Rich bitterness (of course, its Chinook) and chewy, resiny character. Piney, a little bit earthy and a little bit fruity. I like it.

Golden-amber with no head. Earthy, mushroomy aroma. The taste is the same, with light caramel nuances. Good body. Mellow character - might translate well to cask on account of the EKG juiciness in the finish.
