On tap at the brewery, listed as just Systematic- Mosaic. Pours a clear orange copper with small off white head. The aroma is grass, pine, melon. Medium body, dank, tropical fruit, very juicy, really enjoyed this one.

Taster at the brewery - decent hybrid of traditional British and more Americanized barley wine - toffee, treacle, raisin, date all speak British, but the finish brings some spicy hops that make it end more Americanized - a little bit of heat, but not too much - lingering dark bread and date - good.

Pint at the brewery - think "low gravity dubbel" - that is pretty much what this beer is, and a good one - moderate malt richness in the form of dark bread and raisins - still fairly dry and quaffable - light pepper and subtle early, leafy complexities - light spiciness and lingering dry bread crust - a hint of coconut - nicely done.

10 ounce at the brewery - lightly hazy gold - well-done, subtle Brett pale - lightly sweet on the approach, with some tropical character and pineapple - dries out as the Brett character settles in - some gentle funk, spicy phenolics, some characteristics vaguely reminiscent of Orval, which of course I enjoy - dry, spicy finish, with lingering musky Brett - very good.
