At GBBF 2011. Black beer lasting bubbly dark beige head. Roasty liquorice aroma. Good condition in mouth. In fact if i liked liquorice juicy stouts then this would be good. But i am not.. Good beer though and top marks for flavour and condition just not my thing

Cask at the Crosse Keys, JDW. Pours slightly hazy with a moderate, white head. Big punch of hops in the aroma, mostly pine. Beautiful flavor, honey and caramel sweetness, pine, strawberry, melon and grapefruit. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sticky finish, resinous hops, more honey, pine and various fruits. Great, great beer.
