Keg @ The Abbey. Pours clear gold, medium white head. Aroma is herbal, grassy, light citrus. Taste is bitter, grassy, aggressive citric hop, fair carbonation. Bit rough.

On cask at Beerbohm, pours a clear amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out bready malt and light bitter English resinous hops. Flavour brings out bitter resinous hops and English bready malt. Creamy and bitter on the palate, with a decent punch. Solid.

From cask at Blue Boar, Leicester, 23.05.18. Clear dark copper. Pale brown head with large bubbles. Aroma and taste of medium dark malt, biscuits, roasted nuts and burnt caramel. Low bitterness. Uncarbonated. More like a dark mild than a bitter.

Handpull cask at the Blue Boar, Leicester. Bluish brown, very translucent with a loose white head. Blueberry in the aroma but not much else. Sweet fruity taste with a bit of chalky bitterness in the short finish. Slightly saccharine aftertaste. Very simple and more of a fruit beer than a traditional mild... But I liked it.

Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2016, [ Great British Beer Festival 2016 ], London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX. [ As Leatherbritches Cad ].Clear medium to dark red brown colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, berry, caramelized malt, sugary. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, caramelized malt, sweet malt, dark malt, toasted. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20160809] 5-3-6-3-12

Cask at the Pup and Duckling, Solihull. Poured a clear reddish brown with a thin broken white head. The aroma is roasted earthy malt, light strawberry cheesecake woody hop. The flavour is moderate bitter light sweet with a smooth dry woody hop bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Keg tap at the Parcel Yard, Leicester. Dark ruby, almost opaque with a creamy khaki head. Scent of light sweet malt, berry, milk chocolate, merengue. Tastes sweet and fruity with the lingering hoppiness slowly emerging from the shadows up to the decidedly bitter finish. Glacé cherry and Ovaltine in the aftertaste. Well carbonated but not excessively so. Very nicely put together.
