Cask at Guildford Arms, Edinburgh, Scotland. Amber colour, off white head. Aroma of rotten eggs/sulphur, light fruity. Flavour is light sweet, watery, light malty, grainy, light caramel. Light bodied, watery. Not good.

(Cask at Southampton Arms, Kentish Town, London, 8 Aug 2010) Pale golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, spicy nose with citrus, ginger and grass. Fruity, spicy taste with notes of citrus, grass and generous doses of ginger. Slightly soapy finish. Rather light body, dry and fairly bitter. Tasty and quite nice with a spicy ginger bite.

Cask, handpump at The Green Man & Blacks Head Hotel/Pub, Ashbourne, Derbyshire 18.09.10 Pours amber with a filmy white head, good clarity. Nutty taste, little fizziness on the tongue, buzzy bitterness, fresh clean taste, its fine but a fairly standard bitter. A6 A4 T6 P4 Ov12 3.2

Cask at the Southampton Arms on 18th December 2010. Clear amber with a small white head. Floral hoppiness and fruity notes with a citric undertone. Berry fruits, caramel malt sweetness and cherries. Aftertaste sweetish, evolving to bitterness between sips. Rich and intense.

Cask (handpump) @ The Brewery Tap (Derbyโs Royal Standard), Derwent Street, Derby, Derbyshire England DE1 2ED.Alc. 5.9.%. Clear medium yellow orange color with a average, creamy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, moderate hoppy, grapefruit, citrus - lime. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20100117]
