Can at nicks, burst in bag. Pours golden Amber, nose is huge mint, honey, funk, light smoke, taste is sweet honey, minty, quite salty, could do with longer in the barrel.

440ml can at The Wrekin Inn, Wellington Shropshire on 25th August 2022. Dark body, beige head. The Maple syrup makes the beer very sweet, the Pecan nuts and Bananas also add their own brand of sweetness; the dark chocolate helps to calm it down a little, but this is a high alcohol sweet Stout and I liked it!

Can thanks to my bro. It pours oily jet black with deep yellow - tan head. The aroma is sweet, unctuous, oily, intoxicating, rich chocolate cake, gateaux, vanilla, toasted coconut, bourbon biscuits, choc chip cookie dough and chocolate syrup drizzled on ice cream. The taste is slick, oily, chewy, toothy, unctuous, toasty, bitter - sweet, cake batter, cookie dough, a shit tonne of chocolate, gateaux, vanilla, toasted coconut, bounty bar, chocolate brownie, baked Alaska, charred, light umami and a touch of espresso with a slick, fifthly finish. Thiccccc kkk body, fine carbonation and slick, oily mouth feel. A big filthy number. It works well for a thick, dessert stout. Novel.

Cask at the Wellington, Birmingham. Poured a slightly hazy golden colour with a bubbly white head. The aroma is grainy malt, light citrus fruits. The flavour is moderate sweet, light bitter, with a light, slightly watery, smooth, lemon citrus, light floral, woody hop bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation.

Handpull cask at the Blue Boar, Leicester. Brownish gold and clear with a loose white head. Light, sweetish aroma with orange peel and a little TCP. Sweet taste, fruited caramel with some astringent almost sulphurous notes. Long balanced finish... I say balanced but the astringency sticks in the back if the throat and the the bittering hops flutter about the tongue. Flat, thick body English as fuck. Maybe too much so, although I'm enjoying it, it isn't their best beer.
