Draught. Above marks for the Weyermann Malts version Very yellow, orangeish shine, little head. Fresh hops, UK & European, freshly baked white bread. Superb, fresh hops - like the best UK bitter, hop bales, little fleshy/meaty ending, yeast. Light bodied, grist slickness, very refreshing. Superb! Better than last year. This is a brewer to watch! Bottled 75cl version with Malterie du Château malts Orange-hazy beer, orangey head. [4/5] Hops, but less pronounced than the Weyermann version, and a bit of banana ester. [6/10] Again milder hops, ending on a rainwater flavour.[7/10] Light to medium bodied, grist slickness, bit oily MF. [3/5] I prefer the draught/Weyermann... [14/20] --- Beer merged from original tick of Agullons Pura Pale on 12 Sep 2006 at 05:09 - Score: Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 7. Original review text: Draught Hazy, cloudy-orange amber with a small rim of dense foam. Cray, hops (UK-like), but very restrained nose. Bitter, with a soft English cookies flavour, shortbread-like. Light to medium bodied. Very British in character. Catalunya for the Brits?
