Pigs Ear. Cask. Murky brown beer, a few tan bubbles. Smooth and semi dry palate, decent fine carbonation. Thinnish but fairly rich dark malts, cocoa dark chocolate. Modest plummy fruits, a light and fairly dry finish. Tasty but dry, seem to have said that a few times today.

Keg at Brewdog Cowgate Edinburgh. Pours black with a thin tan head. Aromas of chocolate and light salt. Taste is more of the same. Quite rich.

Keg at BD 7D, Collabfest mop up, 02/11/22. Black with a moderate tan covering that clears to a swirl. Nose is chocolate, dark malts, red berries, herb, spice. Taste comprises roast malts, chocolate pastry notes, bready, herb, spice, dried berry fruits. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a kiss of alcohol. Not bad.
