500ml bottle from Anthony's of Wellington (Shropshire), drank at home on 26th November 2021. BB 1st September 2022. Hazy orange body, white head. Fruity aroma with a tart edge to the whole proceedings, is Mango normally that sour?

500ml bottle in Anthony's of Wellington (Shropshire) on 2nd November 2021. Dark with a thin tanned topping. Sour taste to this hedgerow and berry flavoured Porter, I blame the Sloes to be honest. Struggled to finish it.

Keg pint @ Stonehouse Brewery, supped amongst the apple trees outside the brewery. Pours a hazy yellow, small white head. Light mango nose. Crisp palate, refreshing with soft hop citrus and very light mango influence to taste. Softly sweet overall. Was hoping for something along the lines of Two Thongs, but this is much lighter bodied. Decent overall.

Keg @ Stonehouse Brewery and bottle. Pours opaque golden yellow, good white head. Vibrant fruity aroma, lots of tropical fruit and smoothie level orange and mango. Smooth on the palate with a fresh sticky sweet fruity profile, good vibrancy of flavour. A real departure from Stonehouse's previous offerings and hopefully the start of more modern styles.

9th August 2021: Shrewsbury Gathering at Chez Sophie. Five likely lads sharing beers. First up was two 500ml bottles of this; cheers Mat. Cloudy orange pours, soft white head. Bitter oranges in both the nose and taste, other smooth tropical citrus fruits around in the brew too. Good start to the evening.

500ml bottle: BB 14th June 2022. Drank in Anthony's Of Wellington Butchers on 30th July 2021. Golden/orange body, natural haze; full on white head that hung around. Lively one, the beer was very keen to get out the bottle. Citrus front to the hoppy brew with a herbal undertone, too 'lemony' for me. Scored objectively.

Keg @ Stonehouse Brewery on a hot sunny afternoon. Bar girl attempted to dissuade me from choosing this, it being so hot, but it fell on deaf ears. Unclear dark brown, small beige head. Aroma of dark malts. Taste brings subtle dark berries alongside dark malts and subtle roast. Not bad.

500ml bottle from Woodfield Stores, and also cask pint at Stonehouse Brewery itself, on a lovely sunny afternoon in the apple orchards. Pours clear gold. Resinous tropical fruit and citrus come through nicely on the nose. Pretty hoppy character, though quite oily and sweet overall, more of a bitter bite would be welcome but quite flavoursome overall.
