Very slightly hazy pale gold with a frothy/creamy white head but no major aroma. Medium bodied with a refreshing, zesty mouthfeel, fruity and fresh, a little kick of hop bitterness and a bittersweet finish

Cask at Brunswick, Derby (23/9/23). Pours a dark burgundy with minimal off-white head. Aroma is mainly roasted malts with a hint of floral hops. In the mouth it has dark fruits, cola and malts with some traces of liquorice. Later on some floral hops come through as well leading to a slightly bitter finish. It’s reasonable but a bit on the bland side.

A golden ale with a thin creamy off white head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with light grassy British hops, light cereals character, pleasant and smooth. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with grassy British hops, loads of cereals, pleasant. On tap at Ship and Mitre.

Cask @ Gas Works Brew Bar, Manchester. Copper-amber with a creamy-frothy head. Crisp enough despite a dry texture, and it has a lovely hop-malt balance with a gentle bitterness.
