Third, cask ale at Head of Steam. Clear warm golden body. Filmy layer, dotted spots on the glass. Moderate ripe fruity aromas. Rather fresh fruity taste of oily hops and apricot. Rounded bittersweet tail. Easy to drink. Quite pleasing. (Leeds 02.07.2018).

Cask. Fat Cat, Sheffield. Mostly clear gold colour. A few bubbles of white head. Nose has some lemon and tinned fruit. Sweet wort. Taste is sweet and fruity. Some leafy bitterness. Light body. Oily mouthfeel. Leafy bitterness to finish. There’s plenty of hops in this, but they come across a bit stewed, unfortunately.
