Paul and Angus, the founding partners, have come together to create a selection of ales that provides a genuine balance of old and new. All our beers are all crafted using cutting edge techniques and equipment to ensure flawless quality, consistency and great depth of taste. Cask (gravity) @ 33th Pigs Ear Beer and Cider Festival 2016, at The Round Chapel in Hackney, London, England. [ As Stod Fold Dark ].Clear dark red brown colour with a average, frothy - fizzy and open, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, dark malt, sweet malt. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, sweet malt, dark malt, roasted, caramel. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20161130] 6-3-7-3-13

Sampled @ GBBF Day 2. Clear yellow to golden color, small white head. Smell and taste sweet malts, sweet hops, overripe fruits in a good yet pretty sweet way, lightly bitter if there even is some bitterness in it. Still, pretty decent.

Gbbf. Klares dunkel goldenes Bier. Geruch mild zitronig hopfig, citrus. Geschmack sehr hopfig bitter, fruchtig, leicht zitronig.

Cask @ Trades Club, Hebden Bridge. Copper coloured with a small creamy head. Crisp ale with a lightish malty-sweetness. There’s more of a berry-sweetness in its nose.

Cask at the Pineapple in Kentish Town, London. Pours black with a bubbly tan colour head. Aroma of chocolate, toast, roasted coffee, touch of liquorice. Medium roasted bitterness and a light sweetness. Medium body, texture sticky. Soft carbonation. Very good porter.

Cask @ Trades Club, Hebden Bridge. Golden with a very small head. Hopped with a few malts in its nose as well. Dry textured with a light pale ale fruitiness that’s tropical.
