330 ml bottle, lot 0919, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 6%. Cloudy golden colour, large white head. Aroma of lactic acid, kveik (Norwegian farmhouse yeast), juniper and smoke. The flavour has a distinct lemony fruitiness and acidity, followed by distinct notes of smoke and tar. Bitter finish.

Endelig er det mandag igjen, og seremonimester Melberg forestår den sedvanlig generøse utskjenkingen av humørskapende styrkedråper. 0,33 flasker. Lett uklar, korngul med fint skum som varer. Solid, fruktig aroma og smak med kreosot, krydder, citrus børsyre og kantareller. Kjenner imidlertid ingenting til fioler, som iflg etiketten skal være en del av inntrykket. Et delikat og særpreget øl, vel verdt et gjensyn hvis anledningen byr seg.

Shared bottle at Cardinal, Stavanger. Pours hazy golden with off-white head. Aroma of bananas, smoke, some malty and fruity notes. Tastes slightly bitter with little sweetness. Thin bodied, very dry mouthfeel, slightly bitter finish.

0,75 flaske, elegant forseglet, fra Statens helsekostutsalg på Kvadrat, hjemme, for å feire avsluttet parkettprosjekt: klar rødgylden med flott skum som varer hele veien ned - upåklagelig. Raffinert, litt tilbakeholden bæraroma, men smaken er lekker og overbevisende. Solbær, rognebær, rips, og med engelsk appelsinmarmelade i tillegg. Aprikos og svisker er også til stede sier Kitty, som er strålende fornøyd (både med denne og den nye parketten). Her er det ingen sure miner - snarere tvert imot. Delikat bitterhet i avslutningen. 38 IBU, og humlen er Hallertau Mittelfrüh. Det høye vitamininnholdet er forbilledlig skjult. Dangerously good.

330 ml bottle, Lot 0618, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 5.2%, IBU 12. Golden colour, huge white head. Strong aroma of wheat ale yeast, also notes of hay, citrus and mild spices. Fizzy and citric mouthfeel, overcarbonated. The flavour is wheaty, yeasty, citric, slightly spicy. Like almost all beers from this brewery, it is way too yeasty.
